Merge of Delete Duplicate Stories
As I import articles/items from multiple sources, I need to be able to merge multiple items if they are referring to the same event. For example, Google News, ProMed, Moreover, or Eurosurveillance may report on the same event. In Riff, I'd like to merge these as one event, but still be able to see who reported it. This will further enhance the detection and accuracy that we're talking about one event and not multiple ones... Thanks, Taha

Event (e.g., disease outbreak) Confirmation
Currently, there is no quantifiable measure to suggest that an item (news article, ProMed rumor, etc.) has resulted in a confirmed event (e.g., through WHO with confirmed diagnosis and/or lab results). I'd like to suggest adding an option that says [Confirmed Event] that when the user selects a date/time field is allowed. Currently, Riff only has a field if the event is a potential outbreak. To sum, I suggest adding the following:
1. Confirmed Event [Yes/No], If user selects [Yes (or clicks the option)] then show the following two fields:
- 1.A. What is the event? [Text Field]
- 1.B.… more0 votes -
